The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivor Plaza feature a major sculpture by Victor Salmones (1937–1989) and three key elements. A Positive Mental Attitude Walk includes 14 bronze plaques, four inspirational and ten instructional. A sculpture of eight life-size figures moves through a maze symbolizing cancer treatment, shifting from fear to joy. The “Road to Recovery” presents seven plaques explaining cancer and outlining essential steps for successful treatment.
