All Bike Lanes lead to Downtown Santa Rosa! With Humboldt Bike Blvd. and multiple new lanes dedicated to cyclists, it’s easier than ever to get Downtown on a bike.
Ample Bike Parking
Dozens of bike racks means no matter what your destination, you’re never far from a convenient place to lock your bike. Take a look at all the Downtown Bike Racks on the City’s Bike Rack Map.
Commuter Bike Resources
SMART and most bus lines allow riders to take their buses on board, making commuting Downtown even easier.
Did you know that Downtown employees who commute on their bike can take advantage of SCTA’s Emergency Ride Home program? You are eligible to be reimbursed for an emergency ride home if you work or go to college in Sonoma County and take an alternative mode of transportation other than driving alone to work or campus.
If an unexpected circumstance arises (e.g., child is sick, bike was stolen, carpool partner unexpectedly left early, unscheduled mandatory overtime) you can be reimbursed for a ride home, via taxi, Uber, Lyft (or equivalent), car share, or rental car by submitting a reimbursement request.

The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is conveniently located in Downtown Santa Rosa! The organization is an excellent resource for area riders and cyclists.
