Details
These Dolhareubang (“Stone Grandfather”) statues, 250 cm tall, were gifted to Santa Rosa by Bukjeju, South Korea, in 2003. Traditionally placed at village boundaries or gates on Jeju Island, they feature wry smiles and hands on their bellies. Hand-cut from basalt, the statues are believed to provide protection, ward off evil spirits, and symbolize fertility.Nearby Food & Drink
