Sonoma County sculptor Bruce Johnson lived on a ridge above the Sonoma County Coast for over 30 years. He created large-scale sculptures using massive, salvaged redwood logs. His sources of inspiration included the natural world, traditional Japanese woodcraft, Zen, and ancient monumental forms such as dolmens and pyramids.
