Mandala Mural is a bold, brightly painted mandala by Bud Snow that fills the shallow basin of an abandoned fountain in Juilliard Park. Created to engage downtown pedestrians and cyclists, the circular mural features concentric rings of abstract, mythic creatures- Snow’s contemporary take on prehistoric or evolutionary beasts. Among them are giant scarabs releasing snakes and footed fish that seem to crawl from a primordial soup.
