1TRIBE returns to Barrel Proof Lounge for another night of Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeats & Amapiano in Downtown Santa Rosa.
Konnex Productions and Barrel Proof Lounge bring 1TRIBE back on Saturday, October 3, turning the lounge into a late-night dance floor powered by sounds from Africa, the Caribbean and across the global club scene.
Behind the decks are DJ Konnex & DJ Kobie, two selectors with deep roots in the music and a serious range between them.
DJ KONNEX
Voted 2025 NorBay Best Live DJ, Santa Rosa's Konnex has built a reputation for sets that move fluidly across reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats and global club sounds. Rather than simply jumping from track to track, his sets are built as a journey — digging deep, changing gears and keeping the dance floor moving.
DJ KOBIE
Born in Trinidad & Tobago and now based in the Bay Area, Kobie Quashie brings an international sound-system pedigree to 1TRIBE. He founded Ashanti Hi Fi SoundSystem and has performed across California and around the world, including Trinidad, Jamaica, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and Ethiopia. His musical range reaches through reggae, dancehall, Afrobeat, Afro House, Soca, hip-hop and electronic music, while keeping Caribbean sound-system culture at the heart of the mix.
Together, Konnex and Kobie created 1TRIBE around a simple idea: African rhythm, Caribbean energy and global dance music sharing the same room. Afrobeats rolls into Amapiano. Reggae gives way to Dancehall. The tempo changes, the bass stays heavy, and the dance floor connects it all.
If you caught 1TRIBE at Barrel Proof in June, you already know the energy. Now the tribe gathers again.
