Bandjango Collectif is a wild-around-the-edges musical experience, melding French Gypsy Jazz & Chanson, New Orleans Jazz, and global traditional folk into one vibrant, transportive sound.
Bay Area Jazz vocalist, Stella Heath, leads this spirited ensemble in performances that are at once deeply rooted and joyfully unpredictable. With a French-inspired global panoply of sounds, Bandjango showcases Heath’s magnetic vocals alongside tight, driving rhythms and playful improvisation with a rotating cast of world-class musicians.
The band’s sound moves effortlessly between smoky Parisian cabarets, New Orleans dance halls, and far-reaching musical traditions—inviting audiences into a rich and celebratory musical landscape.
