Left Edge Theatre presents “Very Best of the Rest” – a staged reading of eight short plays that very nearly made it into previous Hindsight Short Play Festivals (2020-2025).
The eight playwrights from across the U.S. include local playwright Caitlin Strom-Martin, Arianna Rose, Rhea MacCallum, Alan Brooks, Robb Willoughby, Dan Morra, Maury Zeff and Steve Koppman. The plays cover topics such as identity, immigration, social inequity and the perils of social media, and include a memory play, satire, comedy and drama.
Hindsight Festival plays are performed as staged readings by a talented group of local actors working with multiple directors. Since its first, virtual production in 2020, Hindsight has introduced more than 50 new playwrights from around the world to local audiences, earning a reputation for showcasing innovative, provocative and entertaining scripts. Books of winning Hindsight play scripts by year are available for sale on Amazon and at The California Theatre.
Tickets: $17 Advance, $22 at the Door
