Details
Mark McLay & The Dustdevils in concert at The Lost Church, an intimate listening space where the audience is close to the performers, the volume is at a comfortable level, and there's a bar!
Mark McLay & The Dustdevils play original American rock and roll drawing from a song palette similar to John Hiatt, Jackson Browne, and Bruce Springsteen. Mark’s expressive vocals carry tuneful melodies and meaningful lyrics, wrapped in sophisticated, song-first arrangements that balance grit, heart, hope, and humor.
Backed by The Dustdevils—Dan Ransford:Drums, Eric Straus:Bass, Mark Harris:Lead Guitar, Riki Reinking:Harmonies/Blues Harp, Dallis Craft:Keyboards/Harmonies-—the band moves effortlessly from hard-nosed rock to tender, reflective moments, always in service of the song. Praised by critics at KRSH, KPFA, and the North Bay Bohemian, their honest, evocative sound has been featured in film, TV, and radio—and it’s even better live.
Mark will be performing a few songs solo as well!
