P.U.R.R. PRESENTS: A PUNK CLOWN TAKEOVER 🤡⚡
Punks United in Real Resistance takes over Barrel Proof Lounge for six hours of live punk, drag, DJs, DIY vendors, clown chaos, food and mutual aid — ALL AGES.
Friday, October 9, Barrel Proof gets taken over from 6 PM to midnight for a benefit supporting Sonoma County Acts of Kindness.
At the center of the bill are Menstrual Tramps, the longtime DIY hardcore/street-punk band coming to Santa Rosa from Minneapolis. Formed in the late ’90s, Menstrual Tramps have spent decades making fiercely independent punk, with releases including Exploitation, No Hesitation, No Defeat and 2020's Cutthroat EP.

This isn't just a show.
A Punk Clown Takeover is a mutual aid benefit for Sonoma County Acts of Kindness, a volunteer-run Sonoma County nonprofit providing basic necessities, resources and advocacy for unhoused and financially underprivileged members of our community.
Their volunteers distribute meals every day and provide necessities including hygiene supplies, clothing, tents, tarps, sleeping bags and cold-weather gear directly to people who need them.
